Accredited Training Material

An Accredited Training Provider will need to be accredited with the PFTC and registered with the Central Firearms Registrar (CFR) as per the Firearms Control Act.

Part of obtaining PFTC Accreditation is that the Training Provider must utilize Accredited Training Material and Assessment Tools to train and assess learners. This process must be facilitated by Registered Instructors and Assessors

The Training Provider can develop and provide their own set of training materials for accreditation or they can sign an MoU with one of the PFTC and industry’s lead service providers. For more information on the lead service providers, please contact the PFTC ETQA department.
